What happens if my dog becomes sick or injured While in your care?
Your pet’s health and safety are always a top priority at La Bella Pawliday Inn. If your dog becomes sick or injured while in our care, our staff will assess the situation and contact you or your emergency contact as soon as possible. If veterinary care is needed, we will follow the instructions provided in your pet’s file. If the situation is urgent and we cannot reach you, we may seek appropriate veterinary care to protect your dog’s well-being. We will keep you informed and document any medical concern or incident that occurs.
How do you keep dogs safe & comfortable during daycare and Boarding?
We take a proactive approach to keeping dogs safe, comfortable, and well supervised. Our staff monitors behavior, body language, energy levels, and interactions throughout the day. During daycare, dogs are thoughtfully grouped based on factors such as size, temperament, play style, and energy level, with time for play, potty breaks, hydration, and rest. If a dog appears stressed, overwhelmed, tired, or uncomfortable, our staff can provide additional rest or separate them from group play as needed because safety always comes before playtime. During boarding, we follow each dog’s care instructions and routine as closely as possible while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.
Can you accommodate dogs with special needs, medications, or specific care instructions?
Yes. We’re happy to discuss medications, feeding schedules, mobility needs, behavioral considerations, allergies, and other individual care instructions. Please provide medications in their original labeled containers with clear written dosage and administration instructions. Some medical or behavioral needs may require additional accommodations, which we evaluate on a case-by-case basis to ensure we can care for your dog safely. Our goal is to provide attentive, individualized care so every dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
